What the Top 40 entails

The professional organization consisting of the top trial lawyers under 40 throughout each region or state receive invitations based on peer recommendations and research related to a lawyer’s demonstrated skills, recommendations and established reputation. Throughout the evaluation process prior to admittance, The National Trial Lawyers evaluates each nominee in areas which include:

• Trial results from the previous year, including verdicts and settlements
• Reputation among the public, judiciary and other attorneys
• Leadership within attorney organizations at the state and national level
• Attorney ratings and rankings among established organizations
• Nominations from current members or leading trial attorneys

Through membership in the organization, Ms. Whitlock, along with the other lawyers selected, has access to educational and developmental opportunities, in addition to her ability to network with some of the top trial lawyers across the country.

From her office in Silver Spring, Morgan Whitlock’s areas of practice consist mainly of cases involving motor vehicle accidents; she also accepts cases related to premises liability claims and dog bites.
