Jessica J.

Paralegal

Jessica is a paralegal student at Northern Virginia Community College pursuing her paralegal certification while working at Whitlock Law, LLC. A single mother to two amazing children, Judah and Magnolia, and an Australian Labradoodle named Auggie, Jessica is an honor roll student who is passionate about the legal field and helping clients feel heard, supported, and understood during difficult times. Prior to raising her children, Jessica previously worked at Holland & Knight, further strengthening her longstanding interest in the legal profession.

Outside of work and school, Jessica founded My Charming Colors, a kindness-based crochet movement she started with her children when they were younger. Together, they have created and distributed more than 3,500 free handmade crochet coffee sleeves throughout their community to encourage others through small acts of kindness. My Charming Colors has been featured in People magazine and highlighted by Tommy McFly on NBC4 Washington. Her designs often feature artistic and inspirational themes inspired by Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Starry Night, cherry blossoms, Dolly Parton, David Bowie, and Wu-Tang Clan, all intended to make people smile and feel seen.
